Port of LA’s first EV truck charging depot gets funding

Rep. Nanette Barragan came to the Port of Los Angeles to present a federal funding check for $1.5 million to LACI as an investment for the first public electric truck charging hub at the Port of LA in Wilmington.

California has set an ambitious goal requiring all drayage trucks to be 100% zero emissions by 2035, and this moment marks a huge step forward in accelerating the transition.
